Here in Ohio the DUI programs really mean nothing except money in the State coffers. When the number of DUIs Delcine because people are watching their alcohol consumption and driving they lower the allowable blood alcohol level. Can’t let the number of DUIs drop gotta keep that cash flowing.

I don’t know about other states but here in Ohio when a court is audited by the state no one questions whether justice is being served or anything like that. All that is audited are the books to be sure the state has gotten all the money due it!

How can I get names & contact info for all persons arrested for DUI in Portland OR during May 2008
I’ve tried calling and asking. They want me to do a FOIA request which will take months for them to get back to me.

Why do you want to obtain these names Is this some type of vigilante justice Do you plan on passing out flyers with their names on it to their neighbors or trying to humilate them in public

Or do you work with some type of business that works for insurace companies and reports at risk drivers to them

I think any type of vigilante justice would be morally and ethicially reprehensible. Those arrested of DUI already pay their debt to society. The criminal justice system is responsible for bringing them to justice and deciding what their punishment should be not some vigilante.

Be reminded that in this country every citizen is innocent unless and until proven guilty. Not everyone that is arrested for DUI is guilty of DUI. Everyone that is arrested and not had a trial yet deserves the presumption of innocense.

I can call up your local police department and give them a bogus story that you raped me. They would then have probable cause to arrest you for rape. How would you feel if some vigilante decided to label you a rapist and put your name on flyers Wouldn’t you want to be presumed innocent unless you are proven guilty

Instead if you choose to go ahead with this you should collect names of those CONVICTED of DUI.

Passing your DUI assessment
I have never heard of anyone who has taken the DUI assessment and passed or didn’t have to take some kind of counseling or take the DUI classes. I was wondering if maybe there was someone out there that did get assessed as not needing the classes required. Just Curious

Most of the time you will at least be recommended to the education class or AA. As a Probation Officer I have never had anyone that hasn’t had to do anything.

I am trying to search for a DUI arrest record in Milford Delaware. So far I have not been able to find it. How do I search for it

Most superior county clerks offices have online databases but they are usually only available to lawyers for a small monthly fee. Some records are being placed online in some states but you wouldn’t find much more than a date and the type of offense.

If you want to see the actual case file you must go in person to the superior court clerk’s office in the county where the conviction occured and physically request it. You must pay for any copies you want and return the file. If you live in another state you can pay the subscription fee if the courthouse has online records or you can hire a private detective.
